A U.S.-based company that is using their no-code application platform to help businesses empower their organization and accelerate the release of apps, is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer. The engineer will be tasked with the designing process, developing, debugging, and releasing new features. The company is on a mission to provide rapid and reasonably priced enterprise software solutions. This role requires 6+ hours of overlap with the ET time zone. During their Series C round, the company managed to securely raise more than $360mn in funding.
Job Responsibilities:
- Help to develop applications to support operations and different teams
- Assemble and inspect metrics to identify opportunities for performance tuning and troubleshooting errors
- Assist in different areas including system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning
- Help to build sustainable systems and services with automation and uplifts
- Work on improving feature development speed and system reliability through optimization of on-call processes
- Assist in documenting historical knowledge concerning software development, support, IT operations, and on-call duties
- Monitor the performance of applications and keep the sites up and running
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor??s/Master??s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a Site Reliability Engineer
- Experience working with Node.js is essential
- Must possess expertise in debugging memory-related problems
- Thorough knowledge and experience working with Microservices is required
- Prior experience working with containerization technologies is essential
- Knowledge of cloud technologies including multi-cloud, like AWS, Azure, and GCP would be highly preferred
- Must possess excellent communication skills with fluency in English
