A US-based enterprise data cloud company that is helping global businesses to bring about advances in digital transformation, is looking for a Front-End Staff Software Engineer. The selected candidate will be responsible for collaborating with customers to understand their requirements and improving the platform to meet those criteria. The company assists innovative organizations across all industries in tackling truly revolutionary use cases and obtaining precise real-time insights from an ever-increasing amount of data in order to drive value and outperform competitors. The company has managed to raise close to $1 bn in funding so far. This position requires some overlap with the PST time zone.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop a thorough understanding of the customer’s workflow
- Determine the importance of the features and data that customers will see on the products
- Write code in React-Redux and assist in the release of new versions of the web app
- Examine the code of other engineers and make improvements where necessary
- Work with customers to understand their needs and improve the platform to meet those needs
- Work with back-end engineers to understand the information architecture and assist in the definition of APIs for responsive UIs
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor??s/Master??s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 7+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
- Knowledge of REST APIs/React, and Redux
- Previously worked closely with customers and have developed models to get feedback from customers
- Knowledge of written unit tests and testable code
- Familiarity with hosted service providers like AWS, GCP, and Microsoft Azure
- Knowledge of Kubernetes
- Proficiency in English
