The selected candidates will be responsible for creating specifications that can be linked to execution and system testing. The company creates market-leading automotive and IoT software, data, and diagnostics management solutions, as well as market-leading hardware. The company has managed to securely raise $85mn+ during its Series B round of funding.
Job Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality C code in a real-time embedded environment specifying, designing, and implementing embedded subsystem functions and behaviors
- Participate in the entire firmware development lifecycle, from concept to integration, testing, and high-volume manufacture
- Write requirements that can be traced back to implementation and test cases
- Hardware setup, system troubleshooting, and code optimization
- To achieve product needs, make trade-offs between performance and optimization
- Contribute to technical designs, ECU specifications, safety analyses, and microcontroller interface design
- Interact with the teams working on the hardware and mechanical engineering, as well as with customers and product end users
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor??s/Master??s degree in Engineering, Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
- At least 3+ years of relevant experience as a software engineer
- Knowledge of designing code modules with a static memory footprint
- Git version control system knowledge
- Knowledge of C++
- Knowledge of Security areas such as PKI, TPM, Static / Dynamic testing or CI integrations with Gitlab CI etc
- Familiarity with concepts like watchdogs, task preemption, software interrupts, priority inversion, etc.
- Familiarity with Low-level driver implementation (like SPI, ADC, PWM, CAN, LIN, etc.)
- Knowledge of Computer Science principles such as data structures and algorithms
- Hands-on experience with electrical circuits and basic circuit design and analysis
- MISRA C, unit testing, and static analysis tools knowledge is nice to have
- Knowledge of Python scripting is nice to have
- Familiarity with the Embedded microprocessor toolchain is a plus
- Familiarity with ARM cores is nice to have
- Familiarity with processors from TI (C2000, Hercules, MSP430, etc.), Freescale (MPC560x), Infineon, STMicro is a plus
- Familiarity with embedded RTOS (e.g. freeRTOS, MQX, DSP BIOS, etc.) is a plus
- Proficiency in English
