The Digital Literacy Project at TCF aims to develop and roll-out a curriculum for students that builds computer literacy and problem-solving skills using digital tools. It consists of five strands: Computer Systems, Computational Thinking, Programming, Digital Citizenship, and IT Skills. The major focus of the curriculum is on developing programming skills using the software, Scratch. The project is rolled out to TCF schools in stages after strategic pilots are conducted. The Deputy Lead – Digital Literacy is required to lead some aspect of curriculum development, training design and roll-out of the program for scale, and managing communications with multiple stakeholders.

‹?ú Lead project/activities in the development of curriculum, textbooks, teacher guides and training modules for Digital Literacy. Write chapters for textbooks, lesson plans for teacher guides and training modules according to a given framework.

‹?ú Design, develop and conduct staff training for roll-out of Digital Literacy in schools.

‹?ú Design online training tools to facilitate teachers on ground.

‹?ú Plan and conduct activities of rolling out of the program to schools within strict timelines.

‹?ú Maintain a strong relationship with internal and external partners.

‹?ú Coordinate with project lead for review and incorporate feedback.

‹?ú Guide, support and provide feedback to team members and collaborate with other functional units wrt research, design and implementation of DLP.

‹?ú Collaborate with multiple departments on a range of projects related to the development of curriculum, student learning outcomes, testing and similar activities.

skills (with the ability to write age-appropriate and contextually

relevant content for students)

‹?ú Interest in current programming software for children, e.g. Scratch and Python

implement computer science curriculum

Bachelors/Masters in the field of Computer/Social Sciences/Humanities/Education from an accredited institution. Having a computer education background will be a plus


Minimum 1 year of program design, teaching, training or curriculum development experience.
