Description
The Curriculum Development Specialist will work with the Academics Team on the overall planning, design and development of the Math and Science Curriculum for multiple grades. The incumbent will primarily work to produce quality lesson plans for Teacher Guides (TGs) for our Partnership Schools. He/She will also work on the design and development of Math and Science textbooks, workbooks, and other resource materials for TCF schools. The medium of instruction of the resources will be Urdu and English. The Curriculum Development Specialist will also be responsible for other projects related to academics working and school policy.
- Develop a set of quality, engaging, student-centric resources for Math and Science instruction, in Urdu, drawing upon proven instructional approaches from international contexts and best practices from the local context; which includes writing chapters, lesson plans and other resources
- Work closely with the Graphic designers for the layout and design of the resources
- Design and develop high quality learning content to improve teacher content knowledge
- Research innovative modes of instructional delivery and pedagogical practices to transfer concepts to different types of learners

Be responsible for yearly and on-going projects related to Math and Science, annual school opening activities and school policy
Required Skills
- Knowledge and/or experience of Math and Science instruction approaches
- Strong communication skills in Urdu and English
- Strong writing skills in Urdu
- Ability to plan and organize activities within strict timelines
- Ability to read and critically analyze data and situations
- Ability to research and collate information
- Strong advisor/partnering skills to work effectively with designers and program developers
- Passion to stay current on educational content and teaching methods
- Expertise of Microsoft Office

Bachelor??s degree
Experience
Preferably 2-3 years in teaching, training or curriculum development
