Principal Responsibilities:


  • Lead the design, testing and validation work on new production systems
  • Manage the delivery and start-up of new equipment, initiatives, and projects
  • Perform validation of product & equipment performance
  • Partner with IRD to optimize product design and production processes
  • Collaborating with technical experts, other functions, and other manufacturing sites to create the best solutions
  • Development/feedback related with ingredient and finished product specifications
  • Creation of final formula documentation and supporting information
  • Ensuring that high standards are adhered to in current operations
  • Assess current production systems to identify potential optimizations
  • Make studies on performance loss (on equipment, skills, organization)
  • Identifying, prioritizing, analyzing, and eliminating losses and inefficiencies
  • Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) to assess and mitigate risks for process changes
  • Collating, analyzing and presenting data concisely as well as using this information to make improvements and recommendations
  • Continuous improvement and management of processes
  • Optimizing manufacturing & site machinery and equipment
  • Investigating and solving cross functional process issues
  • Liaising and building strong working relationship with Operations, Maintenance, Technical and the NPD team to improve reliability and processes
  • Manage and control costs and waste within processes
  • Creating learning programs and coaching and training technicians
  • Creating and improving standards to enable us to achieve the performance targets for the production line
  • Create and monitor all system documents via SAP (i.e Maintenance Orders, Purchase requisition, Material Reservation, Maintenance Plans, Notification, Cost tracker).
  • Attend and participate in all meeting, including HSE/Technical/Departmental, to enhance the personnel skills and capability of department
  • Supervise and train maintenance team members as per their need also engage maintenance team on behalf of their skill for efficiency improvement of plant and machinery
  • Ensure the implementation of technical training plan for departmental workers



Overall Experience:

  • At least 4-5years of relevant experience



Qualifications:


  • Required:

    Bachelors/Masters degree in Food Science & Technology / Industrial & Manufacturing or a related field.
