System Administrator
We are currently recruiting for System Administrator based in Karachi. This is a permanent position and will report directly to the Head IT System & Cloud Infrastructure.
Position Summary
This position shall be responsible for administration of Windows Server/VM??s/Storage & Cloud and to manage day to day system L3 tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Administration of Windows Server 2016/2019, AD, DC, GPO, DNS, DHCP
- Administration and deployment of VMware vSphere 6.7+
- Administration and deployment of SAN/NAS & Virtual SAN
- Administration and deployment of Server, Application and Network Monitoring Tools
- Administration of domain, web hosting and SSL CA services
- Administration of Cloud Services including Azure & AWS
- Administration of Day-to-Day Level 3 system task along with coordination with internal teams
Critical Challenges
- Coordination with teams to take corrective measure as per requirements
Unique Knowledge & Skills
- Minimum Bachelor??s degree in IT/CS preferably Master’s degree in IT/CS
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in similar role and overall 8 years of experience
- Additional Certifications on Microsoft, Cisco, Linux, or any other relevant areas will be a plus.
- Experience in technical system trainings and systems regulatory compliance
- Understanding of networking & protocols
- In-depth knowledge of Cloud Services including Azure & AWS
- In-depth knowledge of domain, web hosting and SSL CA services
- Problem solving skills
- In-depth knowledge of scripting & automation using batch scripts or Power Shell
