Job Description


Your role:

The People Insights specialist will be responsible for driving the people analytics agenda of the company. The People Insights specialist will also be responsible to ensure the integrity and accuracy of various HR databases and reports, providing critical insights to leadership regarding the companyƒ??s human resources through regular reporting. He or she reports to the VP Strategic projects, serving as a Center of Excellence for the local teams in all Daraz markets. The ideal candidate would be data-driven, with a hands-on attitude and excited about contributing to Darazƒ?? success through people analytics.

  • Implement reporting of insights into people management,
  • Analyse data and statistics for trends and patterns with attention to recruitment, hiring practices, employee benefits and compensation, attrition, and compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Collects and compiles people related metrics and data from a variety of sources including the human resource information system (HRIS), management and employee surveys, exit interviews, employment records, local government labor statistics, competitorsƒ?? practices, and other sources.
  • Based on metrics and analysis, that allows recommendations for policies and activities to improve the organisational culture including suggestions to attract and hire qualified candidates, to motivate and retain employees, to address staffing issues, and to maintain legal compliance.
  • Ensures compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices
  • Work with the different teams and stakeholders, including cross functions within Daraz to provide visibility


A little bit about you:

  • A bachelorƒ??s degree in a Qualitative field, Business Administration, Human Resources Management, or any related field.
  • At least 2 years of experience in insights/analytics and project management is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Working knowledge of various database management, HRIS systems, data analysis techniques, visualisation tools, and software.
  • Systematic knowledge and understanding of reporting structures
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, research and analytical skills.
