The Position
We are looking for a
Senior Software Developer
to join a team of people who take pride in what they do and enjoy working together to solve problems. To continue to develop our MVC Web application, including adding new features and modules, supporting existing code, also develop additional utilities and projects such as mobile apps, Progressive Web Applications, etc.
The chosen individual will work out of the Contour Software Karachi resource center office, as an extension of the division-based R&D department.
Responsibilities
- Scrum / Agile development process
- Microsoft TFS / Azure DevOps
- ASP.Net Identity Framework
- Great communication skills
- Bug fixing / Analytical Programming Skills
- APIs (ASP.Net WebAPI, OAuth etc.)
- Security in development
- Understanding of legal and compliance requirements in development
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems, Computer Engineering or equivalent technical Degree; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 6+ years of extensive experience of developing web applications
- Strong skill of ASP.Net MVC and C#
- Strong skill and working knowledge of HTML5 / CSS / JavaScript /jQuery
- Knowledge of Entity Framework
- Experience of writing LINQ statements
- Must have PostgreSQL working experienc
- Experience of Kendo UI Libraries
- GIS / Mapping Web development ?? Preferre
- Experience of using Team Foundation Server
- Excellent spoken and written English.

- Knowledge and experience with Azure
- Experience or knowledge of GDPR
- Knowledge and experience of implementing ISO27001
- Experience of developing Open data APIs protected by OAuth for clients to access data from software
- Knowledge and Experience of implementing SSO
- Knowledge and Experience of using OAuth2 authentication
- Experience of implementing SAML 2.0 compliant integration for federated/SSO authentication
- Experience of Test-driven development & automation – ideally Telerik Test Studio
- Knowledge and Experience of MS Graph API
- Knowledge and Experience of Power BI / Analytics & Intelligence
- Knowledge and Experience of Native Mobile Development
- Knowledge and Experience of Hybrid Mobile Frameworks (Cordova etc.)
- Knowledge and Experience of Workflow systems

Candidates with no prior experience in GIS should be willing to learn
