The Division

The Position

The Perseus Operating Group, a division of Constellation Software (TSX:CSU), is seeking a


Learning Consultant


. S/He will be responsible for employee-based training. The responsibilities will include partnering with key stakeholders, assessing their training needs, and recommending the right solution to help drive positive results. The Individual will design, develop, facilitate/implement training programs, and evaluate the impact of the training solutions to ensure the return on expectations.

S/he will work closely with learning and development team members and business partners to provide tools and training support for employees. This is a great learning opportunity to grow as a learning professional and the individual will have tremendous support to help them succeed in this role.



Key Responsibilities

As a Learning Consultant, the successful hire will help to deliver simple, interactive, and impactful learning experiences for all employees of Perseus Group. Your duties will include:

  • Designing needs assessments tools and consulting with key stakeholders to assess learning needs and recommending training plans/solutions to close performance gaps
  • Consulting with internal business units to ensure learning plans and programs meet their needs and contribute positively to their business goals
  • Developing robust materials designed to successfully train employees
  • Designing, developing, facilitating, and evaluating classroom training and webinars
  • Designing evaluation instruments and revising training programs based on evaluation results
  • Designing and developing engaging eLearning courses, videos, job aids, and reference materials using learning best practices (e.g. microlearning) and Adult Education principles
  • Maintaining and managing learning content on our LMS
  • Running training reports from LMS and sharing with key stakeholders
  • Designing, developing, and distributing marketing materials to promote learning opportunities to all employees
  • Working collaboratively with other learning team members at Perseus Group in the development of tools, processes and documentation, and sharing resources where possible



Qualifications

  • A post-secondary education
  • A certificate in Adult Education, or equivalent in the learning profession
  • 3+ years experience in a learning and development role or related position
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Creative skills for the design of engaging and interactive learning solutions
  • Comfort and confidence delivering in-classroom and virtual training
  • Minimum 2 years experience with eLearning authoring tools ( Articulate 360 preferred )
  • Minimum 2 years experience with video editing software ( Camtasia preferred )
  • User experience and interface design expertise
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles and training best practices
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Creative and self-motivated
