The Division

The Position
The Perseus Operating Group, a division of Constellation Software (TSX:CSU), is seeking a
Learning Specialist
. S/He will be responsible for employee-based training. The responsibilities will include designing and developing training content and resources for employees. The Individual will work closely with learning & development team members and business partners to provide tools & training support for employees. This is a great learning opportunity with plenty of support to help the individual in this role.
Key Responsibilities
As a Learning Specialist, the successful hire will help to deliver simple, interactive, and impactful learning experiences for all employees of Perseus Group. Your duties will include:
- Developing robust materials designed to train employees successfully
- Acting as a learning resource for internal business units in Perseus Group
- Designing, developing, facilitating, and evaluating classroom training and webinars
- Designing and developing engaging eLearning courses, videos, job aids, and reference materials using learning best practices (e.g. microlearning) and Adult Education principles
- Maintaining and managing learning content on our LMS
- Running training reports from LMS and sharing them with key stakeholders
- Designing, developing, and distributing marketing materials to promote learning opportunities to all employees
- Working collaboratively with other learning team members at Perseus Group in the development of tools, processes, and documentation, and sharing resources where possible
Qualifications
- A post-secondary education
- Achieved or working towards a certificate in Adult Education, or equivalent in the learning profession ( preferred )
- Minimum 2 years experience with learning design
- Creative communication skills for the design of engaging and interactive learning solutions
- Comfort and confidence in delivering in-classroom and virtual training
- Experience with eLearning authoring tools ( Articulate 360 preferred )
- Experience with video editing software ( Camtasia preferred )
- User experience and interface design expertise
- Strong understanding of adult learning principles and training best practices
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Creative and self-motivated
