The Division

Atex has 13 legal entities in UK, Australia, Sweden, Italy, Germany, Finland, France, Singapore, Canada and US. The Finance department is split across the world with resources in different countries. The candidate will be working with the Karachi team as an extension of the Finance Team.
The Position
We are looking to hire a Senior Finance professional, who can take care of country-level financial reporting requirements. The ideal candidate should be independent with experience in P&L variances, BS reconciliations, FX transactions, intercompany reconciliations, and cash flow management.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage monthly P&L and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Cashflow management and forecast reporting.
- Monthly professional services billing as per the timesheets. This requires getting all timesheets approved by their respective project managers.
- Managing monthly cash books, AP payments, and invoice processing.
- Payroll payment processing and statutory payments including all taxes.
- Efficiently handling month end tasks including prepayments/accruals, revenue accruals/deferred release, revenue report, bank accounts reconciliation, intercompany report, and FX revaluations.
- Prepare disclosure notes quarterly for parent entity including P&L and BS analytics
- Provide all support documents for internal and external audits.
- Assist finance manager with group reports, ad hoc requests/reports and month end closing.
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting/Finance with at least 4+ years of experience. Professional qualification background will be a plus.
- Proficiency with MS Excel (ability to maintain/control advance templates along with creating new templates)
- Experience with multiple accounting software. Prior experience in Microsoft Dynamics GP and QuickBooks will be a plus.
- Ability to work remotely with team members in different countries.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Independent with the ability to prioritize and work to tight deadlines.
- Experienced and willingness to tackle complex, technical accounting areas and transactions.
- Competent with a positive attitude and long-term growth focus.
